CAMSENS GmbH

CAMSENS offers measurement systems for the fully automated identification and counting of specific particles, such as mould spores, in air or liquid samples. The systems automatically scan the samples, creating high-resolution images of each particle (over 1 µm) using a camera-based microscope. The AI-based software solution identifies the particles relevant to customers based on size, shape, colour and structure. This automates the conventional cost- and time-intensive analysis in the laboratory.

BeeSupervisor

The founding team of BeeSupervisor is developing a solution for the early detection of mite infestation on bees and beehives in order to inform hobby beekeepers and large-scale industrial producers about a possible infestation of varroa mites at an early stage so that they can decide in good time in favour of the gentlest possible, minimally invasive treatment of the infested beehive. This can both limit the spread of the Varroa mite and reduce the damage to the health of the bee colony.
