AWW - Alternativ Wärmetechnik Wolf

AWW-Alternative Wärmetechnik Wolf, offers solutions and related products for the target customers, that helps reducing their dependency on fossil fuels and assist in cutting down greenhouse gas emissions gradually until the customers reach ~ 0% CO2 emissions in producing their own heating for residential/ commercial or industrial spaces. The systems are designed to facilitate storing heat energy from the summertime and keep it available for winter days. This method of carry forwarding heat energy will help reduce energy consumption during the peak energy demands during cold days.

DeepEn

The goal of DeepEn is to reduce the suffering caused by brain disorders. By providing neuroscientists and biomedical specialists with powerful, minimally invasive imaging instruments, they enable previously impossible studies and new insights into the workings of the brain and other sensitive body regions. DeepEn’s business model is based on their technical core capability - precise holographic light control. This enables them to build the first hair-thin microendoscope in the world.

Healyan

Together with the CiS Research Institute for Microsensor Technology, the Healyan team has succeeded for the first time in the world in integrating a complete light therapy system into a fashionable spectacle frame. The glasses retain their function as a visual aid thanks to the unique indirect lighting method. Controlled by a smartphone app, the Healyan Glasses make it easier than ever before to reduce stress, relax, meditate, sleep better or focus and prevent mental and neurological illnesses - all while listening to your favourite music.

in|stead

in|stead aims to replace plastics with modified natural materials, right where they are needed. As a result, natural materials are used in completely new applications, plastics become obsolete in many areas, fossil raw materials are substituted and the microplastic input into the environment and CO2 emissions are reduced. Natural materials often do not have the required technical properties. in|stead is changing this with its patented process of targeted modification that can be used for natural materials and is sustainable, non-toxic and biodegradable.

Kristallzucht TeO2

In areas such as laser technology, metrology and autonomous driving and aircraft technology, the demand for more efficient, more compact and more powerful acousto-optic modulators (AOM) is increasing. The end products made from TeO2 crystals have ideal acousto-optical properties: they are powerful, energy-efficient and compact. The team has all the necessary expertise to grow TeO2 crystals (tellurium oxides) and produce optical components for industrial laser and measurement technology.

the dementia Web App

Dementia therapy poses major challenges for both carers and relatives. This business idea consists of developing an innovative dementia therapy app. What makes their app special is its ability to create personalised therapy applications and actively involve relatives in the therapy process. It minimises preparation time and enables personalised therapy experiences. It also improves the quality of life of those affected and reduces the burden on carers and relatives.

VE.PLANT

VE.PLANT is an innovative and automated vertical indoor planting system with space for up to 24 plants and the possibility of year-round planting. Thanks to a hydroponic cultivation system with automation, VE.PLANT makes it possible to grow and harvest fresh food all year round with little space, knowledge and effort. As a rule, pesticides can be completely dispensed with, while smart support promotes plant growth. The indoor planting system for the masses is particularly aesthetic and sustainable.
