Conditions of Participation & Confidentiality
The TRIP program is aimed at everyone who has an idea for an innovative product, service, procedure or process organization and who would like to implement the idea as part of a company start-up in Thuringia.
Participation is possible individually or in a team. TRIP is open to all industries. Registration for the program is possible online or by email.
Members of the expert jury and others involved in organizing TRIP are excluded from participation. By participating in TRIP, participants agree to their contact details being included in the ThEx’s customer management system. Exposure of the data to third parties who are not involved in TRIP will only happen with prior explicit approval of the creative mind.
As part of the competition, participants declare their consent to publishing the contact person, short text and the submitted image/ photos in the participant brochure. Additionally, the participants declare their consent to publishing pictures and video recordings of them made as part of the award ceremony.
The TRIP participants undertake to be available for press inquiries, interviews, etc.
Any further use of application documents for purposes other than the implementation of TRIP and retrospectives is impossible without explicit consent of the participant.
The organizer will treat the submitted application documents confidentially.
By accepting the conditions of participation, each participant explicitly authorizes the organizer to pass the application on to its employees, the persons commissioned by the organizer with the initial evaluation of the competition entries and the members of the expert jury commissioned with the final evaluation. The organizer separately obligates the experts of the jury to treat the submissions as confidential.
The submissions may only be used by the organizer and the cooperation partners for the purpose of the TRIP program. The obligation does not apply to information that had already been known to the public when the application documents were submitted or that became known after submission without culpable conduct of one of the parties involved. This obligation of confidentiality ends 3 (three) years after submission.
The participant agrees to the forwarding of contact data by ThEx innovativ without further consultation (e.g. for the purpose of establishing contacts). ThEx innovativ and its cooperation partners take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We abide strictly by the rules of data protection laws.
The organizer is not liable for personal injury or damage to property in connection with attending events.
By registering and submitting the application documents, the participant accepts the conditions of participation in the TRIP program.
The program can be terminated at any time without giving reasons, without the participants being entitled to make any claims based on such.
No legal actions can be taken regarding all activities within the framework of TRIP.
