From April 22 – 26, around 130,000 visitors met more than 4,000 companies at the Hannover Messe to present their solutions for an equally efficient and sustainable industry. As a partner country and pioneer in the energy and industry sector, Norway offered many opportunities for exchange. At the opening ceremony, Dr. Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, H.E. Jonas Gahr Støre, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway and Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz addressed the exhibitors with inspiring words.
Our TRIP team, sponsored by the Foundation for Technology, Innovation and Research Thuringia (STIFT), was present at the world’s largest industrial trade fair with a joint stand to present 10 innovative start-ups from Thuringia as well as the TRIP program and the Investor Days Thuringia. Five days of concentrated power of innovation, industry, networking, inspiration and visits from high-ranking politicians at our own stand are behind us. Every day, two teams had the opportunity to convince visitors of their idea and inspire them on the Startup Stage at the Hannover Messe. They were Healyan, DeepEn, teamera and linkdlab from the Final TRIP Class 23/24, VE.PLANT and DiametriX from TRIP Class 23/24 as well as JARPAI and Hexem. Congratulations once again to Patrick Westermann from DeepEn, who not only won the day for his team, but also the weekly title.
Wir bedanken uns für die Möglichkeit, nicht nur den Messe-Besucher:innen sondern auch interessierten Politiker:innen einen Einblick in das Thüringer Innovationsökosystem gegeben haben zu können. So konnte sich unter anderem Robert Habeck, Bundesminister für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz, von innovativen Formaten und Startups aus Thüringen überzeugen.
Auch Thüringens Ministerpräsident Bodo Ramelow konnte zwei innovative Thüringer Startups kennenlernen und machte deutlich, welchen Mehrwert er in der Arbeit von TRIP sieht.
Nicht zuletzt freuen wir uns, Katja Böhler, Staatssekretärin des Thüringer Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft & Digitale Gesellschaft, an unserem Stand begrüßt haben zu dürfen. Nachdem sie bereits auf dem Demo Day die TRIP-Class kennenlernen durfte, konnten zur Hannover Messe zwei Startups im direkten Gespräch überzeugen.
Ziel unserer Arbeit ist es, Innovationen in Thüringen zu beschleunigen und zu ermöglichen. Dazu machen wir diese sichtbar – in Thüringen aber auch darüber hinaus. Die Hannover Messe ist dabei ein wichtiger Baustein und wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf die #HM25!
